The Sephora Systems Architect Series is not a generic workstation with a premium sticker. Every component specification reflects the real-world demands of Nigerian architects, engineers, and BIM professionals working with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and visualisation tools.
CPU Selection: Why We Chose Intel for This Series
Revit and AutoCAD are heavily optimised for Intel's instruction set and single-threaded performance. Benchmarks consistently show Intel 13th and 14th generation Core i7/i9 processors outperforming equivalent AMD chips in these applications by 10–20% in viewport responsiveness. For a machine used 8–10 hours daily in these applications, that difference is felt.
RAM Sizing Philosophy
Architect Series configurations start at 32GB and go to 128GB. The reasoning: Revit models grow. A project that opens fine at 16GB today will be 25GB next year after additional linked models, MEP coordination, and rendering assets. We size RAM for where the project will be in 18 months, not where it is today.
GPU Choice: NVIDIA Quadro Heritage Where It Matters
For pure Revit work, a consumer RTX GPU is sufficient. We use consumer RTX cards in lower-tier configurations. For clients running Enscape or D5 Render in real time, we step up to higher-memory NVIDIA cards. For clients using Navisworks simulations or Infraworks at scale, we consult before specifying the GPU.
Thermal Design for Nigerian Conditions
Architect Series machines ship with 240mm or 360mm AIO liquid coolers and cases specifically selected for high airflow. Our engineering team has validated sustained workload performance at ambient temperatures up to 38°C — the thermal ceiling of a non-air-conditioned office on a hot Lagos afternoon.
